hmm..u talking about metastock right?

the window pops up when I apply the indicator, and asks me how I want to display it. From that list, i just choose "display as overlay"

chartnexus is good enough for basic usage mah....

once u're more advanced then u can consider software like metastock or nextview. that's when u know u can cover the cost of the software with ur trades keke
