Willas-Array Electronics (Holdings) Limited - By SIAS

About the Company Established in the early 1980s, mainboard-listed Willas-Array Electronics (Holdings) Limited is a Hong Kong-based distributors of electronics components in the Asia Pacific region. As an agent for over 20 suppliers, Willas-Array carries a wide product mix, distributing and marketing in excess of 10,000 product items which cater to over 2,000 active customers in the audio/video, telecommunications, industrial, consumer and
computer segments, primarily in Hong Kong and China.

Seeing Lower Interim Profit: In a recent announcement filed with SGX,
Willas-Array issued a profit warning for the six months ended 30 Sep 08. This is in line with SIASs expectations that they have lowered FY09 earnings forecast in their previous report in July.

Near-term Outlook Challenging: Currently the company have to withstand a negative outlook as the following indicators are pointing towards a tight working capital environment, which needs to be addressed by the company near term.
