Profit In A Bear Market

hi all,

anyone have any idea how to profit in a bear market? sti seems to be freefalling!

there are talks also about US going into recession....if this is the case, what should we do? Is there a chance to profit from a recession?

The news of impeding doom, bankruptcies, and recessions are causing everyone to dump their holdings.

Got hurt myself too

If really want to profit, try taking out short term bonds.....or even short the market by taking out a CFD

Just my 2 cents, i only started my trading recently only...

a) Identify bottoms since alot of stocks are now slightly up from their lowest

b) Identify intraday resistance

c) Is it oversold? I use stochastic osc

d) Look at volume and price range per day.

At this stage we cannot follow TA blindly, especially when selling...better to get profits early to be safe. I would not recommend holding for more than a week.

DEC is dangerous...I expect market to be rather unstable even with this week big gain, Christmas to New year may see some rises....but after Chinese New Year I expect big drops....

May not be accurate..I just started my first trade on 20 Nov ..haha
