Received this on Thursday but haven't had the time to post. This is the most strongly worded version I have read so far !!!

ya! Getting dangerous each day as we keep hitting record high ! What goes up must come down. That's why it is good to be nimble even though one may make lesser as compare to holding on longer. I have exited a few counters on this basis only to realize the next day it has rocketed ( AdvSCT, UOL, Wheelock...etc) . The feeling is not good. Nothing wrong with TA or FA, just that my emotion has out-ruled the indicators. I keep warning myself if I don't pull out while sitting at a profit, tomorrow I may not have a chance. I am down to 4 counters from 8 - 9.
Just my own opinion, you don't have to agree

if you study the past decade.. oct is never a good month. i havent compared it to may though. oct very sluggish... usually picks up in nov onwards.

but this correction may be a tad more severe. something like march? or a tad worse. it would make sense to do some profit taking so one can do some bargain buying.. yeh?

haha but no one can predict a downturn or even a correction. it could come when u least expect it. the good news is the STI is no longer sidewards. it was dangerously sidewards and could spike up or down. it went up. at least for now.

i guess we look out for indicators, taking cue from DJ. so we need to monitor if there are consecutive falls like 300 points and above over 3 days.
