Singtel's at strong longterm support of 2.38. Next levels are 2.43/2.49.
RSI, MACD and Stochastics all signal buy. Looking forward to the Fed meeting, Singtel has a good chance of breaking upwards strongly. Good risk/reward ratio, recommend BUY

SingTel's high dividends should support the price and push it higher. I say up to 2.56.

I need some help evaluating the current trendlines for Singtel. The stock has been threading between 3.7 and 4.0. Being still a noob in TA, i'd like to know how to read the market signals for the past 1 month.
Thanks for the help!

Singtel's uptrend is pretty strong, but it took a breather and now trend support is around $3.75. We might see a temporary rebound from there...chart is attached
of course, this is just my personal opinion, and shouldn't be taken as a recommendation to buy/sell

market's really volatile now, so it's hard to say when is a "good time" to buy, because noone knows where the market is heading towards now.
if you're a long-term investor and have been steadily investing, then now might be a good time to average down based on recent prices. However, this assumes that you *are* going to invest steadily. This is known as dollar-cost averaging, which is investing on a regular basis (investing $500 monthly for example) so that timing the market is totally taken out of the formula. If the stock is $1 for that day, then u can buy 500 for $500. If it drops to $0.50, then you can buy 1000. But every time u buy, u just spend $500. In the end, everything averages out.
This is one of the better investment strategies for long-term investors to take up IMHO.

Volatile Market.
Fully agreed with you, Blitzksg, on the market volatility these days. TA is a study of probability, a matter of contradicting each signal out to see if its a buy order "* order here...not signal" or sell order.
Also to be considered are the risk-reward ratio and tight control for the stop loss order in this kind of circumstances.
To all the traders here, be senior or junior, winning or losing, depends on self's hard work, psychology control as well trading system, not just wait for others to put in a buy call and then blindly follow. So if someone is to follow other's buy call.... please take it as own risk and not to put blames after losing out.
Indeed, the current market is really not for the faint hearted. So if one is not ready, please stand at sideline and watch.
