Southeast Asia stocks climb on US rescue plan

SINGAPORE, Sept 19 (Reuters) - Singapore's Straits TimesIndex rose 5 percent and Indonesia's stock market climbed over6 percent on Friday, led by gains in banks, as investors hopedthe U.S. government would provide a longer-lasting fix to thefinancial crisis.
