about selecting on stocks. I'm not to sure how to select one as well. I know there are those who use fundamental analysis to look at the P/E ration, balance sheet and stuff but i don't really know how to haha. So i let others do the work and i follow. So i look at the stocks people look at. which in a way means more volume. am i right?

yup .. definitely need to know your stuff before going in. I lost a lot of money just because i underestimated the market and overestimated my skills

So now taking things slowly and more cautiously, which is much better

How to use moving averages in an uptrend / downtrend

A trend is series of rising or declining prices over any lenght of time.

An uptrend is a market which seeks consistently higher prices over time.

A downtrend is a market which seeks consistently lower prices over time.

In a uptrend moving averages provide support to the price.

Whereas in a downtrend moving averages provide resistance to the price.
