DBS Vickers is fine. Just that when the market volume is very heavy, you will find that the "hour glass" keep rotating ( means, the trading platform is either very slow or hang ). But CIMB is not any better either.
Lim&Tan and POEM are pretty user friendly as well. If you need CFD, then you should go for Lim&Tan, POEM or SAXO.

Here's my experiences:

For Singapore market, I prefer POEMS and UOBKayHian
For US Market, I prefer Interactive brokers.

The following items a No-No for me:
- SG Warrants
- Short Selling (+ scrips borrowing)
- CONTRA

You must have the ability to pick up the stocks when you issue a buy.
