BoE says joint action only ‘temporary relief’

LONDON – Bank of England Governor Mervyn King said on Thursday that the coordinated central bank action was only ‘temporary relief,’ as he confirmed the BoE had ‘contingency plans’ in case of a eurozone breakup.
